Kikar Lodge in Ropar District becoming the hot selling destination

When Parmish Verma shot the music video of his chartbuster Punjabi song `aa le chakk main aa gya’ at Kikar Lodge, not many Punjabi artists knew about picturesque Kikar Lodge as an outdoor location right here in `sadda-Punjab.’

This one song brought a whole host of production houses to the doorstep of Kangar Village in Noorpur Bedi District Ropar. And today Kikar Lodge is famous for having had almost a dozen songs shot here.

In addition to songs, the breathtaking views at Kikar Lodge are also being used for pre-wedding shoots and destination weddings.

Not to be left behind are the people from Punjab who want to cash in on the growing craze of the resort close by. Most upmarket kitty parties are now being held at Kikar Lodge. “Kikar Lodge has its plus points of being close by with all facilities like swimming pools, good food and drinks and activities for the children too,’’ states Jugnu Sandhu who just attended a kitty party at the Lodge.

Kikar Lodge is also a blessing for the pocket friendly who want the tag of `going out of town for a kitty’ but do not want to spend so much. States Amarinder Singh, CEO Kikar Lodge: “Yes. We have seen a rise in the number of kitty’s and song videos being shot here in recent times. It could also be due to the fact that people want to unwind in environment friendly surroundings.’’

Boasting of 22 cottages and 8 rooms, the property guarantees visitors an opportunity to re-connect with Mother Nature, while being surrounded with comfort and luxury.

The resort is also a haven for those looking to escape the polluted environment of cities. Due to its location within a private forest reserve, the resort houses more than 100 species of birds and is also home to animals like leopards, barking deer, sambar and wild boar. Thus, the resort offers a memorable stay coupled with the thrill and excitement of staying close to animals and birds in their natural habitat.

The resort has four swimming pools, where guests can unwind and beat the heat of the afternoon sun. The Restaurant and Bar offer a wide range of impeccable cuisines that are sure to set your taste buds tingling.

With a tariff to suit every pocket and five star facilities, the place is becoming a favourite choice amongst visitors who would like to travel out of town but still stay in their very own Punjab.
