Chhattisgarh 10th and 12th Exam 2021 to be held Offline: Putting aside rising concerns and speculations amid the students and parents about the upcoming CG Board 10th and 12th Exam 2021, the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) has confirmed that the Secondary and Higher Secondary Board Exams will be held in offline mode at exam centres only.

According to the confirmation provided by the Chhattisgarh Board, all students who are due to appear for Class 10 and 12 exams will have to appear physically at their exam centers and take up the exam as per the schedule or date sheet issued by the board.

COVID-19 Affected /Positive Students Not allowed

In addition to this, the CG Board has also confirmed that students who are COVID-19 positive will not be allowed to appear for the exam, and instead, a special exam would be held for them later on. The order is also applicable for students who are not directly infected themselves but are affected by COVID-19 and reside in Containment Zones or areas under lockdown. As per the officials, those absent students in the name list will be marked ‘C’ and shall not be given any marks. Those students marked with a ‘C’ will be considered passed in that subject.

Later on, such students, will not be declared as failed but will be given another chance to appear and clear the CGBSE Board Exam 2021 during the special exam. After the special exams, absentee students with ‘C’ marks would be awarded marks as per their performance.

COVID-19 Guidelines for Board Exams

Chhattisgarh Board is all set to hold the CGBSE 10th and 12th Exam 2021 from 15th April 2021. According to the official schedule, Chhattisgarh Board 10th Exam 2021 is to be held from 15th April to 1st May 2021. Following completion of the secondary exams, CG Board 12th Exam 2021 will be held from 3rd May to 24th May 2021.

During the exam, CG Board has directed all students, invigilators, and staff members on duty to completely abide by COVID-19 precautionary guidelines. As part of these, following social distancing, wearing of masks and spaced seating arrangements are being made. As per the guidelines, only 50% of students of total seating capacity are to be allowed in a classroom for the CGBSE Board Exam 2021.
