HPBOSE 10th and 12th Exam 2021 Postponed: As per the latest update, Himachal Pradesh State Government has decided to postpone HPBOSE Board Exam 2021 for Class 10 and 12 Students in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic situation. The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education, Dharamshala has also issued an official notification confirming the postponement of Matric and Plus Two Exams in the state till 17th May 2021 with immediate effect.
As per the exam date sheet announced earlier, the HPBOSE 10th and 12th Exam 2021 have begun from 13th April, but have been stayed today in the light of the worsening situation of COVID-19 in the state. Revised Exam Schedule Soon
While the exam has been postponed with immediate effect, the decision has left many students in the lurch about their academic future. Clarifying their doubts about when the exam would commence again, the board’s notification says that the new dates for the exam would be notified soon.
The official notification published on the website of HPBOSE i.e. hpbose.org, also states that as the exams have been postponed with immediate effect, all the staff members involved in the process have been relieved from their duty for now. The notification says that superintendents, deputy superintendents, flying squad members, and exam invigilators, as well as Peons, have been relieved of their duties for now.
Furthermore, the circular also clarifies that all the exam materials, including (Question Papers, Answer-sheets, and other relevant examination materials) are to be kept in the safe custody of the concerned school center coordinator or principals.
UG Exams Stayed Till 17th May
In addition to this, the Education Department has also decided to halt all college and university exams for undergraduate level students until 17th May 2021. Although we are trying to confirm the development, a news report from the IANS news agency has confirmed that exams for UG students have also been halted until 17th May 2021. The tweet sent out by the news agency read “Amid the sharp surge in #COVID19 cases, the #HimachalPradesh government on Wednesday announced the ongoing state board #examinations for Class 10 and 12 and undergraduate university examinations starting on April 17 have been postponed.”
