Odisha HSC / Matric Exam 2021: BSE Odisha releases Alternative assessment method and passing criteria for 10th Class students

The Board of Secondary Education, Odisha has released the BSE Odisha class 10 marking criteria. The Odisha Board class 10 examinations have been cancelled by the board considering the increasing COVID-19 cases in the state.

CBSE class 10 examinations

According to the announcement made by the officials, the Odisha Board class 10 students will be assessed mashed on the Internal assessment marks. In a tweet put out by the Odisha local media the Odisha Board class, 10 students will be evaluated based on the marks secured by the students in class 9 and 10. The half-yearly exam marks of class 9 and the class 10, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th practice exam marks will also be taken into consideration for evaluating the students.

Odisha Board class 10 Examination 2021 Marking Scheme

Since the Odisha Board class 10 examination has been cancelled, the board in its initial announcement had stated that the class 10 students will be evaluated based on the marks secured in the exams conducted by the schools.

The criteria for marking the students will be the Odisha class 9 half yearly examination marks, class 9 and 10 school examination marks, and the marks secured by the students in the class 10 practice examinations conducted by the schools.

The Odisha Board class 10 examinations were scheduled to be conducted by the board from May 3 to May 15, 2021. Odisha is not the only board to cancel the class 10 examinations. The CBSE and the ICSE board were the first to cancel the CBSE class 10 examinations. The Central Board of Secondary Education in the announcement stated that the class 10 students will be evaluated based on objective criteria set by the board to evaluate the students.
