Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ to hold high-level meeting on 12th Board Exams 2021 Today :  As per the latest update, the Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ will convene a high-level meeting i.e. 23rd May 2021 to discuss holding of pending Class 12 Board Exams 2021.

Mr Pokhriyal has asked all states education ministers and education secretaries of all Board’s to attend tomorrow’s meeting to arrive at a consensus about CBSE 12th Exam 2021 and State Board’s Pending Class 12 Exams. The meeting is scheduled to be held at 11:30 AM in the morning and along with 12th Class Board Exams, the meeting is also expected to see discussion on pending competitive entrance exams for admission to professional courses.

Meeting to be Chaired by Defence Minister

As per the details shared by the Education Ministry, the high-level meeting scheduled for tomorrow, will be chaired by Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh. The meeting will be attended by Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ as well as Union Minister for Women and Child, Smt. Smriti Zubin Irani and Union Minister Information and Broadcasting, Shri Prakash Javadekar.

Meeting Announced on Twitter

To confirm the development, Union Education Minister sent out a tweet from his official account confirming the meeting scheduled to take place tomorrow i.e. 23rd May 2021. Education Minister took his Twitter account to announce this meeting which reads, “The Hon’ble Prime Minister has desired that any decision affecting the careers of his beloved students has to be taken in wide consultations with all State Governments & Stakeholders. I recently held a meeting with all the State Education Secretaries in this regards.”

In another tweet, Mr Pokhriyal added that “All the State Government Education Ministers and Secretaries have been requested to attend this high level meeting and to share their valuable views with regards to upcoming examinations. This virtual meeting will take place at 11.30 AM on May 23, 2021.” While announcing this decision, education minister also invited suggestions from various stakeholders about the pending Class 12 Board Exams and how they can be held under the current circumstances. Suggestions can be sent to the minister via tweet to his official account.
