UGC courses on SWAYAM: As per the latest update, the University Grants Commission has decided to introduce 83 undergraduate level and 40 postgraduate level MOOCs i.e. Massive Open Online Courses for the upcoming July Session. The courses have been introduced on the online learning platform SWAYAM to help candidates access them easily. UGC took to twitter yesterday announcing that “83 UG & 40 PG Non-engineering MOOCs to be offered in July 2021 semester on the SWAYAM platform.” To help candidates check out the new courses introduced by UGC on SWAYAM platform, direct links are placed below:

Formal Notification Issued
Following the initial announcement on twitter, the Commission also issued a detailed letter confirming the starting of new MOOCs on SWAYAM Platform. The letter read “In the current scenario of the second wave of covid-19 Universities and colleges are requested to make optimum use of SWAYAM online platform for the benefit of students learn the list of 83 UG and 40 PG MOOCs courses which are ready to be offered on the SWAYAM platform in July October semester 2021 is enclosed herewith and can also be seen on swayam.gov.in.”
Credit Transfer Benefits Available
One of the biggest advantage of taking up MOOCs on SAYAM Platform is that it allows students from any college or university to to avail themselves of the credit transfer benefits from the course. Apart from students, the MOOCs offered via SWAYAM platform are also in great demand when it comes to academic fraternity and working Professionals during the pandemic period.
