UP Board 10th and 12th Result 2021: Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) conducted an important meeting to decide the marking scheme or evaluation criteria for class 10th and 12th. However, the board has still not released any evaluation criteria for the UP board exam result 2021. The evaluation criteria for class 10 and 12 is likely to be announced soon.
The Deputy Chief Minister Dinesh Sharma had earlier said, “A committee has been constituted under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary Aradhana Shukla to decide on the formula for giving marks to students, and the final decision on UP Board Result 2021 evaluation criteria will be made based on the panel’s recommendations.”
Suggestions from the Experts
As per the reports, few of the representatives have suggested giving more weightage to the pre-board examination held for the 10th and 12th boards. The students who failed to appear in pre boards should be given minimum pass marks. At the same time, some other stakeholders have urged to drop pre-board marks for UP Board Result 2021. Also, there is a suggestion to allow students to appear for special exams when the situation is conducive if they are not satisfied with their marks. However, the decision is not yet made.
Suggestions from Parents, Students and Experts are Invited
Uttar Pradesh Government had also asked suggestions from parents, students, and representatives of government schools, unaided schools, and private schools regarding the exams. Students and the public were invited to send their suggestions via email – [email protected].
As per media reports, the UPMSP has said that the board is likely to follow similar evaluation criteria as done by the central boards. The UP Board is expected to make the decisions based on these suggestions and recommendations given by the committee. Once the criteria are finalized, the board will start compiling UP board result 2021.
