CBSE to Hold Webinars for Learning and Socioeconomic Wellbeing of Students

CBSE Webinar: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is conducting live webinar sessions for learning and socio-emotional well-being. The event is being held today on 10th June from 4 to 5 pm. CBSE has partnered with CISCO for the live webinar session where students, parents, and others can participate by registering themselves. The webinar can be attended on the official Youtube channel of CISCO or CBSE.

Who All Are Attending the Webinar?

The webinar is conducted under CBSE Health and Wellness Series and the duration of the session is for 1.5 hours. The webinar is being attended by the following panelists – Manoj Ahuja, Chairman of CBSE, Dr Mohan Agashe, Eminent Theatre and Film Artist, L.S Changsan, Joint Secretary of Ministry of Education, Rama Sharma, Head Media and Public Relations of CBSE and Dr. Jitendra Nagpal, Member Working Group Manodarpan Program Director Expressions India.

Other Webinars by CBSE

Apart from this CBSE will also conduct webinars for teachers and students on the Young Warrior Movement. These webinars will be conducted on 11th to 16th June from 11 am to 12 noon. The webinar on the first day will be for Principals and Teachers and on the second day will be for students. The board is also conducting the annual tele-counselling sessions for class 10 and 12 students since 24th May. Students of class 10 and 12 along with their parents can avail the tele-counselling facility at toll-free number 1800 11 8004.

CBSE Dost For Life App

The board had earlier launched a new app ‘Dost for Life’ for the psycho-social wellness of students of classes 9 to 12 during the pandemic. The board has designed this facility for the ease, convenience and utility of students and parents within a safe home environment.

The ‘Dost for Life’ app simultaneously caters to students and parents from CBSE-affiliated schools in different geographies across the world. The live counselling sessions will be conducted free of cost, thrice a week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday by trained counsellors/principals.
