IGNOU July Re-Registration 2021 Deadline Extended: As per the latest update, the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the re-registration deadline for the IGNOU July 2021 session. The re-registration process is being done for the July 2021 session for the undergraduate, postgraduate, semester-based programmes of two to three year durations offered by IGNOU. Students who are yet to complete the re-registration process for IGNOU July Session can now do so until 30th June 2021 via Samarth Portal i.e. ignou.samarth.edu.in.

The news about the extension in the timeline for re-registration for July 2021 session has been confirmed by the varsity itself on twitter. In a tweet sent out from its official account, the university noted that “The last date of Re-Registration for the July 2021 Session has been extended till 30th June 2021.” This news has come across as a major relief for several students who have not completed the re-registration process for some reason and have now been provided another two weeks’ time to do the same. Candidates who are already enrolled in IGNOU courses can re-register for the next year or semester and make the online payment to complete the application process.
How to re-register for IGNOU July 2021 Session?
In line with the current situation and to ensure that students do not face any problems while re-registering for the July session, IGNOU has made the complete process online. Students need to log onto the IGNOU Samarth Portal in order to complete the re-registration process by following the simple step-by-step guide provided below:
Step 1: Visit official website i.e. ignou.samarth.edu.in
Step 2: Log onto the portal using your Enrolment number and Password
Step 3: Select the Programme and Course for which you want to re-register
Step 4: Enter your Date of Birth and other details asked on the page
Step 5: Samarth Portal will display a pre-filled form with your basic details as per previous semester, verify them
Step 6: Pay the requisite application fee for the re-registration process
Step 7: An automated receipt will be generated confirming the successful submission of re-registration for July session
Step 8: Download the confirmation receipt and take printout for future reference
