Karnataka SSLC Exam 2021 Dates Announced: As per the media reports, the Karnataka State Government has given its in-principal approval for holding of the Karnataka SSLC Exam 2021 for class 10 students. As of now, reports have hinted that the KSEEB SSLC Exam 2021 Date will be in the 3rd Week of July but the final dates for the same are expected to be announced after a high-level meeting scheduled to be held on 28th June 2021. Earlier, the Karnataka SSLC Exam 2021 were scheduled to be held from 21st June to 5th July 2021. However, in the wake of the pandemic situation and keeping in mind the safety of the students, the Karnataka Class 10 Exam 2021 were postponed by the state government.

Exam to be held as per COVID-19 Guidelines

Despite opposition from several students and even few parents, the State Government has decided to go ahead with holding the SSLC Exam 2021 for Karnataka students, keeping in mind the academic future of the students. To ensure complete safety, health and well-being of the students, the state government has said that the exam would be held in strict adherence to COVID-19 guidelines including mandatory wearing of face masks and special seating arrangements as per social distancing guidelines. Furthermore, to ensure safety of staff members, all the staff on duty will also be vaccinated before the exams are conducted.

SSLC Exam 2021 Pattern Changed

According to the tentative estimates shared by the KSEEB, around over 8 lakh students are scheduled to appear for the Class 10 Board Exams of Karnataka Board. Keeping in mind the pandemic, the exam pattern for the Karnataka SSLC Exams has been changed. Instead of the long theory-based questions, the students will now have to answer Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) or objective-type questions. The exam pattern has also been changed by the Karnataka Secondary Board to ease the burden and exam pressure on the students.
