AIIMS PG Exam 2021 Not Postponed: With COVID-19 pandemic forcing postponement of many examinations rumours and speculative reports about exam postponements have become common. Recently, a fake circular claiming that AIIMS PG Exam 2021 is Postponed has been doing rounds on social media platforms. AIIMS has warned its students against such fake notices and asked them only to believe information available via official website i.e. aiimsexams.ac.in

Fake Notice Busted by AIIMS Director

As per the exam schedule released by the examination department, the AIIMS PG Exam 2021 is schedule to commence from 16th June 2021 onwards. The Exam is being held for postgraduate students who are currently pursing their education at All India Institute of Medical Sciences. Following queries from students after the fake notice about AIIMS PG Exam 2021 Postponement going viral, the institute issued clarification saying that the exam would continue as per the schedule announced earlier. Dr Randeep Guleria, Director, AIIMS has come out with this clarification saying that the notice being circulated on social media platforms is fake.

AIIMS sending SMS to Students to Warn them against Fake Notice

After the fake notice claiming postponement of AIIMS PG Exam 2021 went viral on social media, the institute has become very active in warning its students against it. The institute has sent out SMS to students to alert them against such fake news. AIIMS PG Exam 2021 was initially scheduled to be held from 8th May which was postponed due to COVID-19 2nd wave and is now scheduled to begin from 16th June 2021.

Students Unhappy with AIIMS PG Exam 2021 Schedule

Earlier, the institute had said that it would provide a month’s advance notice before the commencement of AIIMS PG Exam 2021. However, the revised date for the AIIMS PG Exam 2021 was announced only 10 days prior to the scheduled date. This has caused major resentment among the students who have been demanding postponement of the exam. Many PG students have claimed that due to COVID-19 duty they have not been able to take out time for study as well.
