Allahabad University Exam Schedule Released: As per the latest update, the University of Allahabad has announced the examination schedule for various PG Courses of the varsity. Going by the update, the varsity has announced exam timetable for 2nd Exam for students who are pursuing MCA, BCA, PGDCA Programmes. Along with this, the university has also published the exam timetable for ex-students of MCA, BCA and PGDCA courses. To avoid confusion or misinformation among the students, the university announced the exam schedule online via its official twitter handle. The tweet read “NOTICE and Examination Schedule for Second Examination and examination of Ex-students of MCA, BCA and PGDCA has been put up on the website by the Controller of Exams. Please visit the website for details.”
Exam Dates and Shift Timings
According to the timetable released by the exam authority, the second exam will commence from 15th May and continue until 22nd May 2021. Keeping in mind the prevailing situation, the university exams would be held in online mode. To facilitate smooth conduct of the examination, the university plans to hold the exams in multiple shifts i.e. morning shift from 8 AM to 10 AM while the afternoon shift would be held from 3 PM to 5 PM. Exam Guidelines to be followed
Along with releasing the exam schedule for the MCA, BCA, PGDCA Programmes, the university has also released a detailed set of guidelines that is to be followed by the students for online exams. The key among them are as follows:
Exam via Google Classrooms: Students will be able to join and appear for the exams via Google Classrooms for which a link will be shared by the Centre of Computer Education and Training (CCET) IPS, for their respective papers, on or before May 12, 2021.
Grievance Redress: In case students face any problems or difficulty in joining the classroom they are advised to contact the Coordinator, CCET at [email protected].
Verification via Admit Cards: To verify their identity, students will be required to upload scanned copies of their hall tickets / admit cards on the Google Classroom Software on or before 14th May 2021.
30 Minutes for Submission: As per the official announcement, the exam duration for the test would be of two hours. Apart from this, students would be provided additional time of 30 minutes to submit the answer sheets online. Students should note that they need to submit the answer sheets only on designated Google Classroom. Students facing difficulty in uploading of the answer sheets can alternatively, mail them to [email protected] in the next 30 minutes of completion of exams.
Usage of Paper: Students have to use A4 size paper, write only on one side of the paper and number the paper as 1/12, 2/12, 3/12….12/12. Students can use upto a maximum of 12 pages only.
4 Questions to be answered: Of the total number of questions provided in the test paper, students need to answer only 4 questions. Students should start writing answer to every new question from a new paper / page.
PDF File to be Uploaded: After completing the exam, students have to scan the answer scripts and convert them into a single PDF. Before uploading, the PDF file has to be renamed into format as follows: “AU_Roll Number_Paper Code”
Personal Details on Each Paper: Students should write the following information on the top of all the pages of the answer scripts – class, name of subject, paper, paper code, roll number, enrollment number, date and paper name.
