Ambedkar University suspends Online Classes: As per the latest update, B.R. Ambedkar University, Delhi (AUD) has decided to suspend online classes for students of all the courses in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. With rumors and speculations being rampant about the closure of colleges and universities, the varsity decided to announce the news formally in the form of a circular to avoid confusion among the students.
The official circular released by Ambedkar University reads “In a present unprecedented situation with a sudden surge of COVID-19 cases in Delhi, the online classes, classes at Dr. BR Ambedkar University, Delhi are suspended with immediate effect”.

Offline Classes suspended from 7th April
Earlier in the month, following the rapid rise in the COVID-19 case numbers in Delhi-NCR, the university decided to suspend offline classes i.e. regular classroom-based learning, for all the students. Offline classes for AUD students were suspended from 7th April onwards and in place of them, students were asked to continue their academic activities online. The decision to suspend offline classes was taken keeping the health, well-being, and safety of the students as a top priority and reducing the risk of exposure to contagion.
Apart from confirming the suspension of online classes for the students, the university’s official circular also says that further news and updates about the AUD’s resumption of online classes would be notified by the university online. Therefore, students have been asked to keep visiting the university’s official website i.e. aud.ac.in from time to time to get the latest news and updates about the same.
