Austin Butler is very picky about the roles he takes on

Hollywood actor Austin Butler has been inspired by other actors and directors to only take on “certain types of work.”

The 32-year-old former Disney star – who shot to fame in teen shows such as ‘Hannah Montana’ and ‘Zoey 101’ and became a massive star after playing the late King of Rock and Roll in 2022’s ‘Elvis’ biopic – thinks carefully before agreeing to work as he forms his own unique career trajectory, reports ‘Female First UK’.

Speaking to Total Film magazine, he said: “I’ve been working as an actor since I was 12 years old, and hoping to do certain types of work, and work with certain people. “The thing that’s been guiding me is directors and other actors that I would just adore working with.”

The Hollywood strikes have seen his upcoming movies ‘The Bikeriders’ and ‘Dune: Part Two’ delayed.

‘The Bikeriders’, which also stars Jodie Comer and Tom Hardy, was due to hit cinemas on December 1, but it has now been left with a question mark over the release date, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

As per Female First UK, it’s said they are hopeful to still release the movie in time to make the cut for awards season. It’s a fictional story inspired by the photography of Danny Lyon and his 1967 book ‘The Bikeriders’. The movie is an original story set in the 1960s following the rise of a fictional Midwestern motorcycle club.

Seen through the lives of the members, the club evolves over the course of the decade from a gathering place for local outsiders into a more sinister gang. Talks to end the SAG-AFTRA union strike broke down last week. They have been on strike since July. However, the Hollywood studios paused the negotiations as they were “no longer moving us in a positive direction.”

Jennifer Garner says Reese Witherspoon was there during ‘very public, very hard moment’ in her life

Actress Jennifer Garner has said that the actress-producer Reese Witherspoon was there for her during a “very public, very hard moment in my life” during a panel discussion.

“I think back to being pregnant. This one (Reese) was sitting next to me”, Jennifer — who was on the panel with Reese and Mindy Kaling — shared at Hello Sunshine’s Inaugural Shine On event in Los Angeles, reports People magazine.

“I think back to going through a very public, very hard moment in my life. She was right there and the way I needed to get through it was dance cardio.”

The ‘Yes Day’ actress did not disclose the difficult moment she was referring to, but she did go on to share her and Reese’s experiences of the athletic form of dance.

“And I danced cardio-d so hard, we broke her foot, but she kept going!” she said, quoted by People.

“It was like, okay, we worked out at seven on vacation, we’re going to work out again at two. She was like, ‘I’m going to be there. I’m going to be there’.”

Jennifer married Ben Affleck in 2005 and the pair divorced in 2018.

As per People, they share three children — daughters Violet, Seraphina and son Samuel.

Ben, 51, remarried Jennifer Lopez in July 2022.

Elsewhere in the panel discussion, Jennifer praised Reese for her support of her as a parent.

“She’ll also look at you and say, ‘Okay, you need to be finding a preschool. This kid is two and a half and they need to start next month. You actually have to get on this’,” she said.
