CBSE 12th Result 2021: Today, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has welcomed Supreme Court’s order regarding CBSE class 12 evaluation criteria 2021. He further thanked the Court for recommending the policy and procedure for class 12th results prepared by the CBSE. Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank finally added that the government is committed to the interests and bright future of all the stakeholders related to education in every situation.
The Tweet from the Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank says, “To prepare the result of class XII students, many thanks to the Supreme Court of India for recommending the policy and procedure.” He further added that the Board has adopted the policy after an extensive consultation with all the stakeholders, which is in the interest of the students.
Supreme Court Order on CBSE Class 12th Evaluation Criteria
Supreme Court of India has accepted the alternative assessment criteria formulated by the CBSE for Class 12 students. Supreme Court has asked the Board to include a few other important aspects to the policy before the next hearing. Supreme Court said, “Final formulation of the objective criteria cannot be delayed further as there are a large number of students waiting for their admission to Indian and foreign universities for higher education and the deadline is nearing.” Today, the Supreme Court bench said that a final order would be passed on 21st June 2021.
CBSE Class 12th Evaluation Criteria
As per the CBSE class 12th evaluation criteria 2021, marks scored by students in their Class 10, 11 and 12 would be considered in the ratio of 30, 30 and 40. As in 30% from 10th, 30% from Class 11 and 40% from Class 12. The practical marks obtained by the students will be taken as it is. Students who are not satisfied with their result under this policy will be allowed to appear in the board examination when the situation is conducive. CBSE class 12 result 2021 is expected to be announced by 31st July 2021.
