Confederation of Indian Industry Northern Region is organizing a two-day Hospitality Summit on the theme of ‘Hospitality Sector in the North – Future Peak’, on Friday 24th & Saturday 25th November 2017 from 1000 Hrs – 1630 Hrs at CII Northern Regional Office, Sector 31, Chandigarh.
The Tourism Summit will begin with keynote address by Mr Vijai Vardhan, Additional Chief Secretary Tourism, Government of Haryana; Mr Jaspal Singh, Principal Secretary, Tourism, Government of Punjab; and Mr Jitender Yadav, Director, Tourism, Chandigarh. On the second day of the Summit, Mr Satyajeet Rajan, Director General, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, will share his views from the dais.
To leverage on the immense potential of the sector, special CEO’s Forum on ‘Gearing up for the Hospitality Industry of Tomorrow – Moving from Ostentatious to Functional Dynamics’; Thought Leadership session on ‘Opportunities and Openings: F & B Business, the Franchising Way’; Session for Hospitality Purchase Professionals by HPMF- The Right Choice; Innovations for Greater Return on Investment & Environment Sustainability, Thinking out of the box; will be held.
The Summit will provide a platform to participants to explore business opportunities with international and national hotel chains and Food & Beverages chains willing to expand their footprint in the North. Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, Tree of Life, Summit Hotels, Mango Hotels, Burgill, Barcelos, Paratha Express, Cheesy Fries and Nutrabite are among participants.
Besides interactive session, learning sessions focusing on new trends, technologies and innovations for greater returns on investments, and an exclusive CEOs Forums will also be held.
A product display on the hospitality sector will be key highlight of the two-day Summit. Products to be put on display include equipment for kitchen, bar, gym, spa, laundry and banquet, kitchen and bar supplies, cold room and kitchen refrigeration, décor, room furnishing, housekeeping, besides support services and solutions.
Indian Public Health Association, Hospitality Purchasing Managers’ Forum (HPMF), Hotel Restaurant & Resorts Association, Punjab; Patiala Hotel Association; Amritsar Hotel & Restaurant Association; and Association of Hospitality Professional are taking part in the summit-cum-display.
