Delhi School Closed Update: As per the latest update, Schools in Delhi have been ordered to remain closed until further notice for all classes including Class 9 to 12 students in view of the rising COVID-19 cases. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal formally announced the decision officially through a tweet sent out from his official account.

Delhi School Closed UpdateFollowing which the Examination Branch of Directorate of Education, Delhi Government, has issued a formal circular confirming that “no student of Classes 9 to 12 is called in the school physically for any kind of academic or examination activity…till further orders”. While physical activities on campus have been barred, schools have been allowed to continue teaching activities online.

All Physical Activities Suspended

The official circular released by DoE, Delhi Government also says that earlier order which allowed schools to call in students from Classes 9 to 12 to the school for exam allied activities stands withdrawn. From today onwards, Delhi School campuses will remain closed and students cannot be called by schools for any activities including practical work, project submission, and assessments related to mid-term or annual examinations.

The official circular also adds that “In view of the sudden surge in the cases of COVID-19 in Delhi, all the Heads of Government, Government-Aided and Unaided Recognised Schools are hereby informed that conduct of all academic and examination activities through physical mode shall remain suspended with immediate effect till further orders.”
