Dexterity’s Student Leaders Receive Rs 21.93 Crores in Scholarships from World’s leading Universities: Dexterity to College fellows have received Rs. 21.93 crores in scholarships this year. From the son of a daily wage earner in Masaurhi to the daughter of a small business owner in Surat, they’re going to top colleges across Asia, America & Europe. The announcement was made by Dexterity Global’s Founder and CEO Shri Sharad Sagar. With this, the organization’s alumni have now received a total of â?¹71.3 crores in scholarships from globally ranked institutions in last few years.

Shut out of formal education for the first 12 years of his life while growing up in small towns and villages of Bihar, Sagar founded the national organization, Dexterity Global, in 2008, at the age of 16 to “power the next generation of leaders through educational opportunities and training.” The organization is inspiring and enabling India’s young generation to redefine education and reclaim leadership. The Telegraph observed Dexterity is “building the future of India” while Forbes noted it is “equipping young people with the mentality to solve 21st century problems.”

In the coming weeks, the organization will make public the accomplishment of each fellow under their “#ThisIsDexterity” campaign. These fellows come from several Indian states as Tamil Nadu, Bihar, Telangana, Delhi, Gujarat, Assam, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, etc. and have been groomed by the organization and its leadership and career development programmes for last several years.

About Sharad Sagar

In 2016, Dexterity Global’s Founder and CEO, Sharad Sagar was in national and global news when he became the only Indian to be invited by US President Barack Obama to the White House for a special gathering of young leaders. Sharad Sagar is also the first and only one from Bihar to be listed on the Global Forbes 30 Under 30 list and is frequently invited by eminent institutions as IITs and IIMs to deliver guest lectures on leadership, nation-building and management. In Feb 2021, IIM Nagpur prepared a case study on Sagar’s organization, Dexterity Global.
