‘Helpless Farmer’ a poster making competition was organized at Jat Bhawan

A poster making competition on the theme of ‘Helpless Farmer’ was organized today at Jat Bhawan here. About 500 students participated in the competition organized by Jat Sabha, Chandigarh. This competition was divided into three categories.

On this occasion, President, Jab Sabha Dr. M.S. Malik (Retd. DGP) announced that all the winners would be awarded with double prize money. Now the first three prizes of each category would be Rs4200, Rs3000 an Rs2200 instead of Rs2100, Rs1500 and Rs1100, besides three consolation prizes of Rs1000.

The first prize in A category (Class III to V) went to Keerat of Bhavan Vidyalya (Junior) Sector 33-D, Chandigarh, second to Aamodita, of Sacred Heart School Sector 26, Chandigarh and third  to Arzoo Ahluwalia of Hansraj Public School, Sector 6, Panchkula.

In category B (Class VI to VIII) Amit of Govt. Model High school, Ram Darbar, Amita of Govt. Model Sr. Secondary School Sector 28-D and Avnee of Sacred Heart School Sector 26, Chandigarh bagged first, second and third prizes respectively.

Similarly, Om from Govt. Sr. Secondary School, Sector 45-A, Nikita of Govt. Model Senior Secondary School, Sector 28-D and Suraj of Govt. Model High School, Sector 32 bagged first second and third prizes respectively in category C (class IX to XII).

The consolation prizes in category-A bagged by Ayman of Aurobindoo School Sector 27-A, Tanisha Sharma, Hansraj Public School Sector 6, Panchkula and Muddit Jain of  Bhavan Vidyalya (Junior) Sector 33-D, Chandigarh.   Others who got consolation prizes in B and C categories include Rhythm Jain, of Bhavan Vidyalya Sector 15, Panchkula, Diksha Mago,  St. Millennium School HMT Pinjore, Amit Kumar, Gyandeep Public school Sector 18, Panchkula, Vanshitka, Govt. Mode Sr. Secondary School, Sector 15-C, Amana Pathak of Hall Mark Public School Sector 15, Panchkula and Yash Sharma of Govt. Model High School Sector 41-D, Badheri, Chandigarh.

All the winners would be awarded in a grand ceremony to be held on the occasion of Basant Panchmi on January 22, 2018.
