Jharkhand 10th and 12th Practical Exam 2021 Postponed: As per the latest update, the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has decided to postpone the on-going JAC Class 10 and 12 Practical Exam 2021 in the wake of the rise in the COVID-19 cases in the state.
The practical exam for Jharkhand Board commenced from 6th April 2021 but has now been postponed until further notice. While practical examination have been stayed and postponed, there has been no word from JAC about theory exams which commence from 4th May.
With rampant rumors and speculations around the postponement or cancellation of board exams, JAC has decided to confirm the postponement of Jharkhand 10th and 12th Practical Exam 2021 through an official notice. The board has published a small ticker with details about the postponement of Class 10 and 12 Practical Exam Us online on its website i.e. jac.jharkhand.gov.in The notification reads “All the practical examinations of Class 10 and 12 of the year 2021 are postponed with immediate effect. Further information in this regard will be published later.”
Update on Theory Exams Awaited
As of now the JAC has not released any update about the theory exams that are slated to commence in the state from 4th to 21st May 2021 onwards. Earlier, the exams were scheduled to be held from 9th to 26th March, but were deferred to a later date. As a relief measure during the pandemic year, considering the difficulties faced by the students, the board had earlier reduced its syllabus by 40 per cent. However, following the cancellation of CBSE 10th Exam 2021 and postponement of Class 12 CBSE Exam, students of Jharkhand Board have also been demanding that a similar decision be taken about JAC 10th and 12th Exams 2021 as well.
