JKBOSE Board Exam 2021 Cancelled / Postponed: As per the latest update, the Jammu and Kashmir Government has decided to cancel the ongoing JKBOSE 10th Exam 2021 in light of the worrisome COVID-19 situation. In addition to this, JKBOSE Class 12 Board Exam 2021 have also been postponed for a month for now.

The news has come across as great relief for students who have been raising the demand for cancellation or postponement of the ongoing exam following the rapid rise in COVID-19 cases in the Union Territory.

News Announced by Lieutenant Governor

The official announcement confirming the cancellation of JKBOSE 10th Exam 2021 and the Postponement of JKBOSE 12th Exam 2021 was shared by Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Twitter. The official Twitter account i.e. Office of LG sent out a tweet confirming the development. The tweet read “In view of rising cases of #COVID19, Class X ongoing exams for remaining subjects has been cancelled and their promotion to class XI will be decided on the basis of their performance in subjects already undertaken in the present exam and internal assessment.” He also added that “In case of ongoing XII exams, it has been postponed and it will be reviewed after one month.”

On-Going Class 10 Exam Cancelled

As of now, the JKBOSE Class 10 Exam 2021 is already underway since 3rd April 2021, but going forward, all the pending papers have been cancelled. The ongoing Class 10 exams were scheduled to continue until 24th April, whereas Class 12 Exams were slated to continue until 29th April 2021. Following the cancellation, students of Class 10 will be assessed for their efforts and allotted overall marks as per their performance in the exams held already.
