Karnataka SSLC Exam 2021 Update: With concerns rising around upcoming KSEEB Class 10 Board Exams, State Primary and Secondary Education Minister S Suresh Kumar allayed worries of parents and students. Interacting with media persons, Mr. Kumar said that all precautionary measures are being taken to ensure the safe conduct of the Karnataka SSLC Exam 2021.
Elaborating further on this, he added that spaced seating arrangement is being made for the upcoming Class 10 Board exams and part of it only 18 to 20 students per exam hall will be allowed. The minister said this while addressing a meeting of Deputy Directors of Public Instructions and Block Education Officers of Bengaluru North, South, and Rural Areas.
In the meeting, he said that for the upcoming SSLC Exams, the local administrators should ensure that there is adequate availability of masks, soaps, drinking water, and clean toilets for the students.
Exam Papers to be Sent According to Seating Arrangements
To ensure that the spaced seating arrangement is followed at the school or exam center level as well, the board has started making the necessary preparations already. As part of this, the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board will send bundles of question papers according to the seating arrangements only, said the Minister at the meeting.
With the Karnataka SSLC Exam 2021 scheduled to commence from 21st June, the state education minister said that preparations for the Class 10 Board exams are going on in full swing. Keeping in mind the threat of COVID-19, the board has been asked to implement all the necessary steps and ensure complete implementation of the precautionary guidelines issued by the state government.
Connect with Students, Parents to Students Appear for Exams
Speaking to the local administrative officers, Education Minister said that “The revised syllabus has been covered in most schools and revision is underway. Talk to students to check whether they’re studying. Some schools have had meetings with parents’ associations to discuss the importance of tests. Some teachers have visited their homes. Ensure all students register and appear for the exams.
