MP Board 10th and 12th Exam 2021 Postponement Likely: With the COVID-19 pandemic getting more serious by the day, the Madhya Pradesh State Government and the MPBSE Board is considering postponing the upcoming Secondary and Higher Secondary Exams 2021 until June 2021.
Although the education department or the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) is yet to issue a formal notification about the same, reports coming from local agencies have hinted that the MPBSE 10th and 12th Exam 2021 may be postponed until June 2021. A proposal to this effect has been sent to Chief Minister’s office in this regard and is likely to be approved soon.
Board Exams Begin from 30th April
As per the date sheet released earlier by the state government, the Madhya Pradesh Board Exams 2021 are slated to commence from 30th April 2021. Exams for Secondary Class students i.e. Class 10 Board Exams will be starting on 30th April while Class 12 i.e. Senior Secondary Exams will begin on 1st May 2021. However, earlier in the week, School Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar had said that in the wake of the much aggressive 2nd Wave of COVID-19, holding the upcoming board exams will be a difficult task.
Considering this, the state government has also lifted the timeline for holding Practical Exams for MBPSE Board Exams 2021. Now, students can appear for practical exams of the Madhya Pradesh Board at their convenience in 2 or 3 days on or before 15th May 2021.
Primary Schools May be Closed until 15th June
On similar lines, the state government may also order primary schools to remain closed until 15th June 2021 in light of the prevailing situation. There is no official confirmation of this development as well, but media reports coming from reliable sources have confirmed that the state government is considering this proposal in order to ensure the safety of the students.
