MP Board 10th Exam 2021 Cancelled: As per the latest media reports, the Madhya Pradesh State Government has decided to cancel the MPBSE 10th Exam 2021 in light of the deteriorating COVID-19 situation in the state. The decision to cancel the Madhya Pradesh Board Class 10 Exam 2021 was taken in a formal meeting held on 26th April.

The meeting was attended by State Education Minister Indersingh Parmar along with officials from Education Department and MPBSE. During the meeting, the prevailing situation around COVID-19 was assessed, following which Secondary Board Exams were cancelled. As of now, this information has been provided by sources and an official circular or notice regarding this is expected to be released by MPBSE soon.

CBSE Board’s Assessment Criteria to be Followed

According to initial reports coming from the sources, the State Government has instructed Madhya Pradesh Board to follow the assessment criteria and promotion matrix followed by the CBSE Board to award general promotion to the students. This is being done keeping in mind the difficulty faced by students last year when they were promoted on the basis of different evaluation criteria.

Decision on Class 12 Exam in June

While the Class 10 Board Exam has been cancelled, MPSE Class 12 Exam 2021 has only been postponed for now and a final decision about its cancellation or resumption would be taken by the state government later on. The decision on the date of the examination would be reviewed in the first week of June after assessing the situation of the pandemic.

MP Board Exams 2021

According to reports, the Madhya Pradesh board class 12 exams are likely to be conducted in June 2021 while the class 10 examinations might be cancelled. The Madhya Pradesh Board class 10 results are expected to be released based on the marks obtained by the students in the internal assessment. Since the number of COVID-19 cases in the state is rising, a decision on the MP Board Exams 2021 will be a relief to the students. The decision to be taken by the state government will be considering the health and safety of the students.

The MP Board class 12 exams will be conducted in offline mode. Madhya Pradesh School Education Minister Inder Singh Parmar will be making an official announcement today on the Madhya Pradesh Board Exams 2021. The Minister has clarified that the general promotion will not be given under any circumstances. The Department of School Education has decided to conduct the MP Board exams in the first week of June instead of April 30, 2021.
