NEET PG 2021 Advisory Released: Amid rumours and speculations about the postponement of the NEET PG 2021 Exam, the National Board of Examinations has issued an advisory dispelling misinformation and confirming that the PG Medical Entrance Exam would be held on 18th April, as per the schedule.

 

NEET PG 2021 Advisory Released: The official notice released by the NBE says that “Considering the importance of the examination in admitting post-graduates in their respective subjects for further training, it is in the best interest of candidates to continue to hold this examination on the announced date.”

Along with this the NBE advisory also provided the guidelines and COVID-19 precautionary measures that candidates need to keep in mind on NEET PG 2021 Exam Day. The key among them are listed below:

Increase in Exam Centres: The notice says that the NEET PG 2021 exam will be held on 18th April at 255 test cities across the country. The total number of exam centres for NEET PG 2021 has been increased this year to ensure social distancing is maintained between test-takers.

COVID-19 Travel Pass: With the 2nd Wave of COVID-19 hitting several states very hard and the local administration has re-introduced travel restrictions in few places. To facilitate students’ movement on the exam day, NBE would be issuing a COVID e-pass to each candidate, which will be made available to the candidates along with the hall ticket.

Reporting Time: NEET-PG 2021 exam is being held in multiple slots to facilitate crowd management at the exam centres. Therefore, candidates have to report to the designated NEET PG exam centre 2021 as per the time slot allotted to them. The exam authority will notify the candidate about their exam slot via email and SMS.

Thermal Scanning: To ensure that candidate appearing for NEET 2021 PG exam are completely healthy, they will be subject to thermal scanning before allowing them to enter the exam centre. Candidates who showcase higher than normal temperature or have any symptoms of COVID will have to appear for the NEET PG exam 2021 in an isolation lab.

COVID safety kit: Each candidate will be given a COVID-19 protective gear safety kit upon entry to the NEET PG exam centre. The safety kit will contain a face mask, a face shield, and five sanitiser sachets. Students must wear the face mask and face shield at the NEET PG 2021 exam centre.

Exit from the NEET PG exam centre: Candidates will be allowed to leave the NEET PG 2021 exam centre in a staggered manner after the completion of the test.
