Pathaan, directed by Siddharth Anand, is on its way to becoming the highest-grossing Bollywood film ever as we write this. After its second Thursday, the film is running at Rs 364-366 crore nett (early estimate) in India and once it crosses Dangal, it will become the biggest Bollywood film. The Aamir Khan starrer collected Rs 374.53 in its lifetime run and Pathaan is likely to storm past this number on its second Friday.

The other films in the universe – War (2019) and Ek Tha Tiger (2012) had collected Rs 303 crore and Rs 199 crore, respectively.

Pathaan is unstoppable at the worldwide Box Office as well. As of Thursday, it recorded a massive Rs 667 crore gross worldwide, becoming the highest-grossing Hindi film overseas in 8 days. Shah Rukh Khan‘s biggie collected around $30.75 million (approx) in eight days, beating the likes of Dangal, Padmaavat, and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The collections are remarkable considering the film hasn’t hit Japan yet, which has been one of the biggest drivers of Bollywood films in the overseas markets.
