PSEB 12th Board Exam 2021: Class 12 exams expected to be cancelled: As per media reports, after the announcement of the cancellation of the CBSE class 12 examinations, the Punjab school education board which was earlier scheduled to conduct the exams only for a few subjects has not yet given any answer regarding the examinations. According to reports, it is expected that the Punjab Board must follow the path of the CBSE and cancel the PSEB class 12 examinations.
PSEB 12th Examinations decision soon
An official announcement is yet to be made by the Punjab School Education Board on the PSEB class 12 exams. As per reports, an official from the board while speaking to the media stated that the PSEB Class 12 examinations may be cancelled and the state chief minister will make the announcement in the coming few days. He also added that the board will take the time to decide the evaluation criteria for the class 12 students and the board will decide considering the best interest of the students.
PSEB chairman Yogi Raj Sharma had earlier announced that the question papers of the PSEB class 12 exams were ready and the answer sheets were also printed. Approximately 3.2 lakh students have registered for the PSEB Class 12 Board examinations and a total of 2600 exam centres were allocated. The chairman also added that the final decision on the Punjab Board class 12 exams will be made only after considering and discussing with the stakeholders.
It is also expected that the state education board may cancel the exams considering the safety of the students and those who are not satisfied with the marks will get a chance to appear for the PSEB class 12 exams when the situation is safe.
