TN 10th Result 2021: As per the latest update, the government has decided to declare students all pass and not give any marks or grades. As per one of the officials, the marks sheets for TN 10th result 2021 will only have ‘pass’ printed. It will not have any marks or grades. The class 11 and polytechnic admissions will be carried out based on the marks obtained in the class 9 examination. The official further added that the director of government examinations would only print ‘all pass’ on the mark sheet.
The reason behind not giving any marks in TN SSLC result is that the state board has not conducted any examinations this year. Mostly the schools were closed throughout the year due to COVID 19, and it did not get any chance to conduct half-yearly or class tests. Therefore, the board came to this decision. After this announcement, the Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu is expected to release the class 10th result 2021 soon.
Nearly 9 lakh students are waiting for the results and mark sheets to be released. The result will be announced only in online mode. Students will be able to check their result at the official website that is – tamilnadustateboard.org. The authorities will soon release the date and time for the announcement of the result.
Admission to Higher Classes
As per the media updates, the school will issue a leaving certificate mentioning class 9 marks, based on which students can take admission for class 11 or polytechnic. School principals have welcomed the decision. They said that they could provide admissions to their school students. However, for the outside students, they can consider class 9 marks.
Tamil Nadu government had cancelled the class 10th exams 2021. The decision has been taken because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The decision to cancel the TN SSLC exams 2021 came after the CBSE announced the cancellation of class 10th exams.
