Tripura Board Exam 2021: Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) will decide on the conduction of class 10th and 12th board exam 2021 after the announcement of CBSE class 12 evaluation criteria. The decision was taken in a high-level meeting chaired by the State Education Minister, Ratan Lal Nath. As per media updates, Ratan Lal said, “We can’t say anything final on conducting Class 10 and 12 board examinations till we get the nod from the health department. We will wait for another week to see the CBSE’s evaluation system.” He further added that the decision on Tripura Board Exam is likely to be announced on 21st June 2021.

The Tweet from State Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath states, “Chaired the Review Committee Meeting for discussion on the feasibility of conducting Board Examinations under TBSE (Both Madhyamik & HS, 2021) amidst this prevailing COVID Situation at Secretariat.” Along with TBSE, the Assam board had also decided to wait for CBSE‘s announcement on class 12 evaluation criteria.
Earlier, the Tripura Board of Secondary Education president, Dr Bhabatosh Saha, mentioned that TBSE class 10, 12 exams this year will include only 70 percent of the syllabus. The topics were reduced because of the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic.

Earlier in May, the Tripura government announced to conduct class 12th and 10th board examinations for only important papers. According to the official reports, TBSE will conduct exams for classes 10th and 12th soon. Education Minister of Tripura Ratan Lal Nath said, ” due to coronavirus it is not possible to conduct the examination of all the subjects of Secondary And Higher Secondary Schools in the state.”
