TS CET 2021: Telangana State Common Entrance Test dates are expected to be postponed considering the extended lockdown in the state. According to the examination schedule available the TS PGECET 2021 examinations are scheduled to be conducted from June 19 to 22, 2021 while the TS ECET 2021 exams are scheduled to be conducted on July 1, 2021.
According to reports, the Telangana State Council of Higher Education is planning to postpone the TS CET examinations which are scheduled to be conducted in the state. Due to the increase in the COVID-19 cases in the state, the Council had already postponed the degree examinations which were scheduled to be conducted in March 2021.
According to officials from the council the degree exams have not yet been conducted and the department is planning to change the dates for the TS CET 2021 examination. The universities will first be conducting the degree examinations following which the TSCHE will be conducting the TS PGECET, ECET 2021 entrance examinations.
New Academic session
According to the schedule provided the new academic session will commence from September 2021 and the delay in two months will allow the TSCHE to change the TS CET 2021 exam dates and plan the same accordingly. The UGC is however yet to make an announcement regarding the 2021-22 academic calendar.
As per reports, the college admission schedule in the state will fall in place with the TS CET exam dates and the TSCHE is likely to adopt the same procedure as last year to conduct the degree admissions.
