UP Board 10th and 12th Result 2021: Finally, the wait has ended for nearly 56 lakh students of UP Board who were eagerly waiting for the announcement of procedure on the basis of which UPMSP would compile the Class 10 and 12 Results 2021. As per the latest update, the UPMSP i.e. the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, has announced the Evaluation Criteria for the compilation of UP Board Matric and Inter Result 2021 following the cancellation of Board Exams. The UPMSP has decided to use 50:40:10 formula for marks obtained in Class 10, 11 and 12 Exams for the preparation of UP Board Results 2021.
Evaluation Criteria Announced by Deputy Chief Minister
Today i.e. on 20th June – Sunday, Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Dr Dinesh Sharma, who also holds portfolio for Education Ministry, formally announced the objective evaluation criteria for UP Board 10th and 12th Exam 2021.
Explaining the UP Board Result 2021 evaluation criteria, Dr Sharma said that for Class 12 students, UPMSP would be using Class 10 marks in the weight of 50%, Class 11 marks in the weight of 40% while Class 12 Pre-Board Exam Results would be weighted at 10% in the preparation of UP Board Intermediate Result 2021. On similar lines, for Class 10 students, 50 per cent of marks obtained in class 9 and 50 per cent of marks obtained in pre-board of class 10 will be considered for preparation of UP Board Matric Result 2021.
Another important aspect mentioned by UP Deputy Chief Minister was that for 2021 session, as the exam was not held due to COVID-19, the board will not be releasing merit list for UP Board Class 10 and 12 Result 2021. Moreover, for students who are unsatisfied with the results prepared on the basis of Evaluation Formula, a second chance would be given to appear for Improvement Examination in the next board exam without payment of any examination fee.
56 Lakh Students to Receive UP Board Results 2021
While announcing the formula, Mr Sharma noted that as many as 56,04,628 students have registered themselves for the board examinations in 2021. Of this total number, 29,94,312 students have registered for the board examination. For Class 10 / Matric Exam, 19,825 private examinees have also registered for the exam. On the other hand, for Class 12 or Intermediate Exam, a total of 26,10,316 students have registered of which 92,658 private examinees.
